Warranty types

All products sold on MiniServer.it are covered by the Warranty:

  • 24 months for the private consumer
    (natural person who purchases the goods for purposes not related to his professional activity, or makes the purchase without indicating a VAT number in the order form). The 24-month warranty pursuant to Legislative Decree 24/02 applies to products that present a lack of conformity, provided that the product itself is used correctly, in compliance with its intended use and as provided in the attached technical documentation.
  • 12 months for those who buy with VAT
    To use the warranty, the Customer must keep the invoice that he will receive via e-mail in PDF format or in electronic format as per current legislation. The customer, by accepting the purchase contract, takes note of the assistance procedures in force at the time of the use of the Warranty Assistance, which he accepts.

N.B.: Atlante Informatica Srl is only responsible for the hardware of the products. The warranty of operation of the software, if provided, is that of the software manufacturer. In the case of open source software, the only guarantee is that of the license to which the software itself is subjected.

How does the replacement work?

The customer must fill in the appropriate page placed in their account (My RMA requests) indicating which products they require repair / replacement. Once the request is accepted by us, you will then receive an email communicating the RMA number with all the information for packaging and shipping. The customer must send the goods by following the instructions contained in the email with which the return authorization number was communicated.
N.B.: Only ship after the RMA request has been accepted.
Only after the release of an authorization number, the customer must send the goods following the instructions contained in the email itself. In the event that, for any reason, you are unable to return a product under warranty (restored or replaced) to your customer, we will proceed at our discretion to refund the full amount paid or replace it with a product with equal or superior characteristics.
All shipments of products will be rejected to the Sender, at his expense:

  • Not previously authorized;
  • Received with unsuitable or inadequate external packaging and therefore damaged during transport. The Warranty does not cover damage due to non-use of the original (or equivalent) packaging and of adequate external protective safety packaging not authorized by the service center.
    In case of lack of conformity, we will restore the conformity of the product by repairing/replacing or reducing the price.
    The possible saving of data of any kind owned by the Customer is excluded from the intervention under Warranty on Hard Disks or various storage devices.

Atlante Informatica Srl WILL NEVER BE responsible for the loss of data on the product being serviced.

If the product is tampered with or the labels identifying the Serial or Part Number are removed or tampered with, Atlante Informatica Srl reserves the right to accept the validity of the Warranty.

In the event of changes to the Warranty Conditions, we will apply the conditions present on the Product Warranty in effect at the time of purchase by the Customer.


Upon acceptance of the RMA by MiniServer.it, the customer will receive instructions for returning the goods via email.

In cases where the application of the guarantees provides for the return of the product, the goods must be returned by the Customer in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessory equipment: manuals, cables, etc ...). In the case of motherboards, the product must be returned with the processor socket protective cover (if present at purchase) and with the processor socket pins (if present) intact. If the card arrives without the above, it cannot be repaired by the parent company, therefore we will be forced to return the asset to the customer as it cannot be repaired and to withhold the sum paid.
To limit damage to the original packaging, we recommend, when possible, to put it in a second box; in all cases, the affixing of labels or adhesive tapes directly on the original product packaging should be avoided.

Advance replacement of the goods

This procedure is reserved for customers who are also recognized as Partners or Resellers and who enjoy this additional service that Atlante Informatica must authorize at its discretion.
The customer will be entitled to request the early replacement of faulty components, only if it respects all the following characteristics:

  • It is a partner of miniserver or Atlante Informatica Srl;
  • Has the technical skills to carry out the replacement of the faulty piece independently;
  • In the last 12 months, it has achieved a turnover of at least € 10,000.00 + VAT;
  • Has executed at least 4 orders in the last 6 months.

Applicable law

MiniServer is a trademark of Atlante Informatica Srl and therefore the conditions of sale of Atlante Informatica Srl apply. The sales contract between the customer and MiniServer is concluded in Italy and governed by Italian law. For the solution of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance sales contract, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial jurisdiction is that of the reference forum of his town of residence; in all other cases, the territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Asti.

Warranty Extension

The customer has the right to purchase the extended warranty separately if provided for by the starting product on which the warranty will apply.
It will be the customer's responsibility to provide the Serial Number identification number of the product for which the warranty extension is being purchased.

Right of withdrawal

If you purchased as a consumer (i.e. without VAT number), if you have second thoughts about the purchase made, you can still decide to return the item to us, within 14 calendar days from its delivery.
We will refund the price of the item for which the withdrawal was exercised within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the item.
The costs for returning the product are charged to the customer. If the returned items show damage or signs of wear, we may withhold from the refund an amount corresponding to their decrease in value.
Please pack the product properly and return it using the personalized return label that you will receive after making the request through the "My RMA requests" menu located in the reserved user area.
We inform you that we cannot accept returns made by hand delivery.
